Basketball Recap: M.L. King Takes a Loss

If M.L. King was feeling good fresh off their 35-7 takedown of Forest Park last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The M.L. King Lions were dealt a 68-20 defeat at the hands of the Jackson Jaguars on Thursday. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-10.

M.L. King's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Jackson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. M.L. King will venture away from home to square off against Creekside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson, they will head out to take on Drew at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
