Football Recap: Lewisville Starts Season with Win Against Mansfield Summit + How To Watch

Lewisville had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Mansfield Summit Jaguars to the tune of 34-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Farmers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lewisville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tre Williams, who threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.9% of his passes. Another receiver making a difference was Traejan Mueller, who gained 94 total yards.

Despite the loss, Mansfield Summit still got an impressive performance from Adarion Nettles, who rushed for 93 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

Coming up, Lewisville will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Byron Nelson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mansfield Summit, they will venture away from home to challenge Mansfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
