Football Recap: Lewisville Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

Lewisville had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Mansfield Summit Jaguars, posting a 34-7 victory. The Farmers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

Lewisville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tre Williams out in front who threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.9% of his passes. Traejan Mueller was another key pass catcher, gaining 94 total yards.

Despite the loss, Mansfield Summit still got an impressive performance from Adarion Nettles, who rushed for 93 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

Lewisville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 38-21 victory against Byron Nelson on the 4th. As for Mansfield Summit, they have also already played their next matchup, a 27-14 win against Mansfield on the 5th.
