Soccer Recap: Lutheran/Calvary Gets the Win

Lutheran/Calvary's game on September 2nd was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Pana Panthers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Lutheran/Calvary have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Pana, too.

The victory got Lutheran/Calvary back to even at 2-2. As for Pana, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran/Calvary will venture away from home to square off against Meridian/Sangamon Valley/Central A&M at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lutheran/Calvary's defense better be ready for this one: Meridian/Sangamon Valley/Central A&M have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season. As for Pana, they will head out on the road to face off against Staunton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
