Baseball Recap: Loogootee Comes Up Short

The Loogootee Lions didn't have quite enough to beat the West Washington Senators on Friday and fell 4-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loogootee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Washington, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loogootee will venture away from home to square off against South Knox at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for West Washington, they will take on Orleans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
