Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Warde's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Warde had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Kayla Huynh was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October.

Huynh wasn't the only good servers: Warde was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.

Warde is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Norwich Free Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

Coming up, Warde will take on Ludlowe at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Norwich Free Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
