Softball Game Preview: PACT Charter Panthers vs. Legacy Christian Academy Lions

PACT Charter is 6-1 against Legacy Christian Academy since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will face off against the Lions at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

PACT Charter is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since April 25, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Holy Family Catholic, falling 13-3.

June Tessum made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she's now hit at least one in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season. Fayth Lindahl was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Legacy Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road last Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 19-0 to Providence Academy.

Everything went PACT Charter's way against Legacy Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as PACT Charter made off with a 21-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
