Baseball Recap: Pennington Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Pennington won the last time they faced Princeton Day and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 4-3.

Pennington's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.25 runs across that stretch. As for Princeton Day, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-13.

Pennington and Princeton Day should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Red Hawks will face off against Bordentown at 4:15 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (18 vs. 112). Meanwhile, Princeton Day (ranked 72nd) will meet Voorhees (ranked 235th) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
