Volleyball Recap: Battery Creek Comes Up Short

Battery Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cross Stingrays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stingrays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.

Battery Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cross, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Battery Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Charleston Math & Science on the 17th. As for Cross, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Andrew Jackson Academy on the 20th.
