Recap: Bartlett Panthers vs. West Greene Buffaloes
The Bartlett Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 31 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 66-16 stomp they got on the road against West Greene. With that win, Bartlett brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Bartlett got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaylin Sheffield out in front who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Sheffield scored 15 or more points. Dacarra Ward was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Bartlett has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for West Greene, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Bartlett won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Daniel Boone at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th. Daniel Boone has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 286 points over their last four games. West Greene will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Greene at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
