Soccer Recap: North Knox Comes Up Short

If North Knox was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Owen Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Evansville Day Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. North Knox were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Evansville Day apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Claire Provines and Audrey Worstell scored both of North Knox's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

North Knox's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Evansville Day, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, North Knox will be playing in front of their home fans against Vincennes Lincoln at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Evansville Day, they will head out on the road to square off against Barr-Reeve at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
