Softball Recap: Peoria Comes Up Short

Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-1 to the Poston Butte Broncos.

Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Poston Butte, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Coming up, Peoria will welcome Washington at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Peoria has given up an average of 17.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Poston Butte, they will challenge Coconino at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
