Baseball Recap: Kingston Cougars vs. Valley Vikings

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kingston and Valley meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Cougars fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kingston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Hahn, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Kingston's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
