Guyer got themselves on the board against Braswell on Thursday, but Braswell never followed suit. They breezed past the Bengals to the tune of 42-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bengals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Guyer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zephyr Kreye, who threw for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. The Wildcats also got a significant boost from Kaedyn Cobbs, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Guyer proved: they limited Braswell to a paltry -0.5 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Darrien Neal stood above the rest. He made six total tackles (3.0 for loss). Guyer's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.5.

Guyer's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Braswell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
