Volleyball Recap: Lake Belton Takes a Loss

Lake Belton saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vandegrift Vipers. The match marked the first time this season in which the Broncos were not able to get on the board.

Lake Belton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23.

This is the second loss in a row for Lake Belton and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Vandegrift, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Lake Belton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Longview on the 16th. As for Vandegrift, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against East View on the 15th.
