Basketball Recap: Beavercreek Beavers vs. Aiken Falcons
Beavercreek had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a hard 80-65 fall against the Aiken Falcons on Saturday.
Aiken was led to victory by James Burnett and Jaiden Arnold. Burnett dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds, while Arnold went 10 for 14 en route to 26 points plus five rebounds and two steals. What's more, Arnold also racked up four threes, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Antonio Hutcherson Jr, who earned nine points.
Beavercreek will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. As for Aiken, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Reading at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
