Baseball Game Preview: Riverside Panthers vs. East Hickman County Eagles

The Riverside Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the East Hickman County Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Riverside has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Riverside faced off against Scotts Hill on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 12-2 to the Lions. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riverside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Brasher, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Meanwhile, East Hickman County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-2 to Harpeth.

East Hickman County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Riverside was able to grind out a solid victory over East Hickman County in their previous matchup last Tuesday, winning 6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
