Basketball Recap: Chugiak Piles Up the Points Against West Valley

Chugiak's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the West Valley Wolf Pack 54-13. That 41 point margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

The victory got Chugiak back to even at 5-5. As for West Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Chugiak won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wasilla at 4:40 p.m. on Friday. As for West Valley, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Palmer at 6:20 p.m. on Friday.
