Softball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 10-7 to the Streetsboro Rockets.

Hudson saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Harrington, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double was Harrington's first of the season. Another was Corinne Stearns, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Streetsboro, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Hudson and Streetsboro will both be playing Howland the next time they take the field. The Explorers will host the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
