Basketball Recap: Evansville Harrison Has No Trouble Against Evansville Bosse

Evansville Harrison won the last time they faced Evansville Bosse and things went their way on Friday too. The Evansville Harrison Warriors strolled past the Evansville Bosse Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 56-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Evansville Harrison had a senior duo take command as Jay Summitt dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards and Shane Sims went 7-for-13 en route to 14 points along with five assists and three steals. Summitt also set a new season-high mark in field goal percentage with 83%. Dustin Gerner was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Evansville Harrison was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evansville Bosse only nine assists.

Despite the loss, Evansville Bosse still got an impressive performance from Marrius Harris, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Elijah Chinn, who posted 12 points.
