Basketball Recap: Cleburne County Has No Trouble Against Wellborn

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alexandria, Cleburne County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Wellborn Panthers 72-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-70 back in December of 2024.

Cleburne County's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Wellborn, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Cleburne County has already played their next contest, a 61-47 defeat against Central of Clay County on the 15th. As for Wellborn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-60 loss against Jacksonville Christian Academy on the 17th.
