Softball Game Preview: West Caldwell Warriors vs. Ashe County Huskies

The West Caldwell Warriors will challenge the Ashe County Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ashe County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on West Caldwell, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, West Caldwell needed a bit of extra time to put away Watauga. They had just enough and edged out the Pioneers 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Ashe County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Hibriten on Wednesday, falling 26-1.

Ashe County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Williams, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.
