Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Makenzi Lunt and Taylor Henrie Lead Thatcher to Victory

There's no place like home for Thatcher, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They skirted past the Safford Bulldogs 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Thatcher was led to victory by Taylor Henrie and Makenzi Lunt. Henrie had 11 digs, while Lunt had 20 kills, 20 digs, five aces, and one block. Those 20 kills gave Lunt a new career-high.

Thatcher now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Safford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Thatcher nor Safford have any future games scheduled.
