Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Waltrip Rams. That's two games in a row now that the Marlins have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Waltrip, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waltrip, they will welcome Sterling at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
