Tampa Bay Tech's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 39-7 win over the Plant Panthers. The Titans have beaten the Panthers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Isaiah Daniel was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 49 receiving yards. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Tampa Bay Tech also got a significant boost from Kesean Smith, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tampa Bay Tech's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Rome Freeman and Connor Wills, who each picked up one sack apiece. Tampa Bay Tech got some further help from Freeman: he picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Tampa Bay Tech's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Plant, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Tampa Bay Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Gaither at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys' defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so the Titans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Plant, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sumner at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
