Softball Recap: Math Science & Engineering's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Math Science & Engineering finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell 6-1 to the Bronx High School of Science Wolverines. The contest marked Math Science & Engineering's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clodagh Finucane made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Finucane is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Math Science & Engineering fell to 4-1. As for Bronx High School of Science, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Math Science & Engineering will challenge Fashion Industries at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bronx High School of Science, they will take on Laguardia at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
