Basketball Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lafayette Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 26th on Thursday. They came up short against the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers, falling 83-58. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 12th).

Tyrone Jamison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Calvary Baptist Academy, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine assists. That's the most assists Jamison has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Hall, who posted nine points along with five assists and five boards.

Lafayette Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Lafayette Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-38 loss against Brother Martin on the 27th. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-60 win against Vandebilt Catholic on the 27th.
