On Tuesday, St. Vincent de Paul earned a 3-1 victory over Healdsburg. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
St. Vincent de Paul had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Rancho Cotate duked it out with Analy on Tuesday. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 18-25, 25-19.
Rancho Cotate's win came from a few key players St. Vincent de Paul will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Roxana Corona, who had 20 digs and six assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Izabella Harumi, who had 20 digs.
St. Vincent de Paul's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Rancho Cotate, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
