Grand Rapids waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats by a score of 9-6. The Thunderhawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Grand Rapids' win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Chisago Lakes Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grand Rapids will host Cloquet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
