Recap: Georgetown G-Men vs. Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS
The Georgetown G-Men lost against the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Georgetown fell 48-38 to Madeira.
Madeira got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Manning out in front who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Ben Reed was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Georgetown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Madeira, their win bumped their record up to 1-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgetown will challenge Tri-Village at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Village is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Madeira, they will head out on the road to face off against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Madeira has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
