Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 64-42 to the Newark Wildcats. On the bright side, the 42- point effort marked the Chieftains' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Newark, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Logan and Athens will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Newark and Canal Winchester will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
