East Union came into Thursday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Central Catholic Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Raiders back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

East Union was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (95-86), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-21, 8-25, 25-23.

East Union's win bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Central Catholic, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
