Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Brook Hill Guard

The Heritage Christian Eagles will take on the Brook Hill Guard in a tournament on Thursday.

Last Thursday, Heritage Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-31 to Prestonwood Christian North. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Brook Hill waltzed into their matchup last Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They secured a 46-41 W over the Lions.

Brook Hill's win came from a few key players Heritage Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zuzanna Majchrzak, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and five steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Remy Tonroy, who put up 12 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Brook Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Brook Hill is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
