Woodlawn came into Monday's contest looking for another win against Dundalk, but Lanaya Valentine wouldn't allow it. The Dundalk Owls were the clear victor by a 44-22 margin over the Woodlawn Warriors on Monday thanks to Valentine, who posted 23 points and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Julianna Fraser, who put up two points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

Dundalk's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points over those games. As for Woodlawn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dundalk will head out to take on Chesapeake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodlawn, they will venture away from home to challenge Catonsville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
