Chavez has gone 9-1 against Franklin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Titans will square off against the Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Edison hit Chavez with a four-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Titans fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Titans have suffered since May 1, 2024.

Kimora Bell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Natally Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to Stagg.

Chavez now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything went Chavez's way against Franklin in their previous meeting back in March, as Chavez made off with a 22-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
