Baseball Recap: Huffman Comes Up Short

Huffman lost against Fultondale back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huffman Vikings lost 11-1 to the Fultondale Wildcats. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huffman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drayden Craig, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Huffman suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Fultondale, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huffman will challenge Carver Birmingham at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fultondale, they will take on Hanceville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hanceville has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.8 runs per game on average), something Fultondale will no doubt try to take advantage of.
