Volleyball Recap: Manual Takes a Loss

Manual saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Providence Catholic Celtics.

Providence Catholic found their leader in sophomore Olivia Healy, who had seven aces and seven assists. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Healy. Juju Batshon was another key player, getting four aces and three digs.

Manual's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Providence Catholic, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-3.

Manual wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mahomet-Seymour on the 18th. As for Providence Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Galesburg on the 18th.
