Softball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

Meridian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bullock Creek, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly two runs.

Meridian's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Bullock Creek, they now also have a winning record of 7-6.

Meridian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 victory against Bay City Western on the 3rd. As for Bullock Creek, they have also already played their next game, a 7-6 defeat against Beal City on the 3rd.
