 Wray is 8-2 against Caliche since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Wray Eagles will square off against the Caliche Buffaloes at 6:00  p.m. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Thursday, Wray didn't have too much trouble with Wiggins on the road   as they won  53-38. Given Wray's advantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 80th, while Wiggins is ranked 207th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  AB Ruiz was  his usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on ten points and 13  rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more  blocks the last eight times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rafael Trejo, who  scored 11 points along with three  steals and two  blocks.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Caliche beat Briggsdale 50-45 on Saturday. The  win was just what Caliche needed coming off of a  72-32 loss in their prior  contest.
 Caliche's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Avery Bell led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on ten points and 12  rebounds.  Zander Yost was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds.
 Wray is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record  this season. As for Caliche, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Wray  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 29  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Caliche struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 34.3  rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Everything came up roses for Wray against Caliche when the teams last played  back in January as the  squad secured a  75-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wray since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
