Soccer Recap: Community Christian Wins Going Away Against Wayne Preparatory Academy

Community Christian's game on Monday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They blew past the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals 9-3. It was an even better day for Hector Guzman as he scored three goals for his team.

Community Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those six contests. As for Wayne Preparatory Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4-1.

Looking ahead, Wayne Preparatory Academy will challenge Wayne Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Generals' match: after the Generals face off against the Chargers, they'll take on Community Christian again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
