Basketball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Seymour challenged Mountain Grove on Monday. The Seymour Tigers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to the Mountain Grove Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Seymour now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Mountain Grove, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Seymour will square off against Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain Grove, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ava at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
