Basketball Recap: Belmont Comes Up Short

Belmont lost against Ithaca back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Belmont Braves took a 63-46 bruising from the Ithaca Bulldogs.

Belmont dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ithaca, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Belmont will be playing in front of their home fans against Black Hawk at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Ithaca, they and Wonewoc-Center will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ithaca's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
