Somerset Academy Losee has gone 3-0 against Cimarron-Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Somerset Academy Losee Lions will square off against the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Somerset Academy Losee is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging an 85-33 win over Cheyenne. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Roderick Johnson was his usual excellent self, putting up 28 points. The game was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antwan Jones, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Cimarron-Memorial entered their tilt with Chaparral on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They breezed by the Cowboys to the tune of 86-54. The Spartans pushed the score to 66-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cowboys cut but never quite recovered from.

Cimarron-Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Somerset Academy Losee, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Somerset Academy Losee was able to grind out a solid win over Cimarron-Memorial in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 71-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Somerset Academy Losee since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
