Basketball Recap: Family Christian Comes Up Short

Family Christian's game on Tuesday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to the Faith Christian Saints 53-47. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

Faith Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Burns, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 19 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Burns a new career-high in rebounds. Bryan Galvan was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Family Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Faith Christian, their record is now 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Family Christian will take on Founders Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Faith Christian, they will square off against Liberty Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
