Volleyball Recap: Carter-Riverside Comes Up Short

Carter-Riverside was the 3-1 winner over North Side when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steers on Thursday.

Among those leading the charge was Nyla Ortiz, who had ten digs and two aces.

Carter-Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Side, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

North Side didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Wyatt on the 14th. Hopefully Carter-Riverside paid attention to the Steers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Steers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
