Volleyball Game Preview: Pepperell Dragons vs. Darlington Tigers

Pepperell is 2-8 against Darlington since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Dragons will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pepperell is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since September 21, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Cedartown 2-1. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Darlington hadn't done well against Model recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Tigers came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-23.

Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pepperell, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
