Football Recap: Valley Skates Past Waggener with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley). They blew past the Waggener Wildcats 52-6 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Valley had a senior duo take command as Jamie Jones threw for 134 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes and Lamar Hockersmith gained 51 total yards and two touchdowns.

Valley's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Jordan Keith and Joshua Vaughan, who racked up six sacks between them. Thanks to that big game, Keith is now up to 9 sacks on the season.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Waggener, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
