Soccer Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short

Eureka managed to slip by Kirkwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Pioneers on Thursday. Eureka were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kirkwood apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Eureka's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kirkwood, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Eureka will welcome Parkway West at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Parkway West's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Eureka's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kirkwood, they will head out to square off against Rockwood Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
