Volleyball Recap: Beech Grove Takes a Loss

Beech Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Greenwood Woodmen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-3, 25-16.

Beech Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Greenwood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beech Grove will challenge Triton Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenwood, they will take on Zionsville in a tournament on Saturday.
