Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Starts off Right with Win over Leedey

Cheyenne/Reydon had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They managed a 53-47 victory over the Leedey Bison on Friday. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 39-34 win the Bison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Cheyenne/Reydon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Bogges led the charge by shooting 50% from the field to rack up 18 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. That's the most boards Bogges has posted since back in January. Rossi Baker was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Leedey's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cheyenne/Reydon has already played their next matchup, a 41-25 victory against Hydro-Eakly on the 18th. Leedey has also already played their next contest (against Sentinel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
